A snappy new look

With more users posting to their own blogs, we wanted to make sure that it was easy to customize the look of your website.  As some of you may have noticed, last week Dig Humanities users now have the option of choosing from an additional 100 WordPress themes!

Each theme was created for, and tested with, the multi-user environment powering Dig Humanities.  This means that users can switch between themes worry free– any theme-specific user settings will not be lost when you change your site’s look, so if you want to change back to a previously customized theme, all your settings will be right where you left them.

New themes can be found under the Appearance tab of your sites dashboard.
The Dig Humanities special themes are still available, and are listed as Dig Humanities K2, and Dig Humanities Atahualpa.  The latter being the most customizable theme available, and recommended for advanced users who really want to customize the look of their personal blog or site.

We’re always adding new features around here, even now there’s two or three changes in the pipe that (hopefully) I’ll be able to announce shortly.  If you have features you’d like to see added please let me know by replying to this post, or in the user forums under Suggestions.

Thanks,
~ Dig Humanities Team
